Direct answer
As checked September 11, 2026, Tesla invites inquiries about a fleet or an individual Cybercab for commercial use. The linked page is an interest form, not a retail ordering process. The pages reviewed do not establish a purchase price, delivery commitment or consumer purchase program. [1] [2]
What Tesla actually offers online
| Page | What is shown | What is not established |
|---|---|---|
| Cybercab FAQ [1] | An invitation to inquire about commercial purchases. | That submitting an inquiry results in an accepted order. |
| Robotaxi interest form [2] | Fleet purchasing and mobility-hub interests, company information and deployment region. | A price, delivery slot, purchase agreement or guaranteed network access. |
Buying a vehicle and joining a network are different
A commercial-interest form can identify prospective buyers without defining how ownership will work. Do not equate it with a reservation, a franchise, permission to offer rides or an operating contract.
The useful next evidence would be published purchase terms, eligibility, a delivery process and the agreement governing fleet operations. Until then, avoid treating projections about owner earnings as observed results.
Questions a prospective fleet business still needs answered
For planning purposes, separate vehicle acquisition from the physical service arrangements: where vehicles will charge and wait, who will clean them, who authorizes repairs and who coordinates recovery. Ask which responsibilities belong to the manufacturer, network, owner or contracted operator.
Other unresolved commercial questions include insurance, downtime, access to repair information, revenue sharing and eligibility by region. This is a list of missing inputs, not financial or legal advice. A return forecast cannot remove those uncertainties.
Do not mix different companies’ ownership models
Uber’s June 2026 Lucid/Nuro announcement describes ownership and operation by Uber and fleet partners. It is a different program from Tesla’s inquiry form, with a planned Houston service launch in 2027. [3]
We are not using that announcement to claim a public sale program. Nor does a planned depot for future owners prove that customer vehicles have been delivered. Our scope here is the purchase evidence on the cited pages, not a claim about every private transaction.
What this version leaves out
We have omitted unconfirmed vehicle prices, promised owner-income figures, speculative returns, fleet-registration counts and predictions about regulatory reviews. None is needed to explain the distinction between expressing interest and buying a vehicle.
The first research draft answered the purchase question with an absolute “no.” This version uses narrower language tied to Tesla’s own pages, because those pages establish an inquiry route rather than the outcome of every commercial discussion.
Frequently asked questions
Can I buy one for personal use?
The FAQ’s inquiry invitation is for commercial use. The reviewed pages do not provide a personal-use ordering program. [1]
How much does it cost?
No Cybercab purchase price appears on the FAQ or linked interest form checked for this guide. [1] [2]
Does submitting the form reserve a car?
The reviewed form does not establish a reservation, accepted order or delivery allocation.
Can I add my own Tesla to the fleet?
These Cybercab inquiry pages do not establish an owner-car enrollment program. Do not assume that capability from the inquiry form.
What we don’t know yet
- Purchase terms, pricing and delivery eligibility.
- Network access, revenue-sharing and owner responsibilities.
- Whether and when a personal-use purchase route will exist.
